Good fit, fairly warm liner although could be a bit thicker.
I normally wear leather, but need something more waterproof. This jacket certainly doesn't disappoint. Dry underneath even in some of the worse rain I've ridden in! I can't recommend this jacket enough.
Great jacket with latest technology of laminate. It's waterproof although collar is a bit low. Loads of vents too, well designed.
Used to have the black version now have the grey, not overly pricey and a great fit. The warm liner really works well in colder weather too.
I have many jackets that claim to be waterproof but water always finds a way in except with this jacket! I commute 22 miles a day all year round and yesterday the 13/10 was the wettest I have ever ridden in and got to work and then back home as dry as a bone even the inside 0f the pockets were dry. excellent jacket for price and so so comfortable as well now have the trousers too.
Great jacket excellent fit does exactly what is days on the tin kept me me dry and warm in the rough weather would highly recommend
Only rated good because I haven't had the opportunity to wear in the rain.
Fit well in the sleeves, chest and length.
Very warm with the thermal liner.
Very comfortable with or without the thermal liner.
Two good size outer pockets and a good selection of internal pockets.
The collar secures well and is very comfortable.
I've got the same in grey too so this was just for looks. Great jacket
Very warm, especially when you forget to take out the inner lining during the warm October weather we're having.
Having tried on in store I purchased this online. (Didn't have my size in the matching trousers in store on the day- I only pre ordered one size). For the price it's excellent quality. Only had a quick spin wearing it but it is really comfy. Great having removable liner and vents. Haven't experienced it in the rain yet but I'm confident it'll be fine. Top quality item for a fraction of the price of other laminated gear. The XL jacket fitted perfectly (6ft tall, 44 chest) and L trousers (36 waist, 34 leg).
My first jacket after 43 years of non-riding. It fits perfectly, has plenty of protection, adequate pockets. Great value. It's a good start!
Great jacket with latest technology of laminate. It's waterproof although collar is a bit low. Loads of vents too, well designed.
I am very impressed with the fit and performance of this jacket. Fit is accurate for me I'm 5 feet 9 and a 44 chest and a Large fits nice and snug. I've ridden with this jacket in 2 days of rain and it remained waterproof and warm the whole time with not leaks. In warm weather the chest, forearm and back vents are really effective directing a good flow of air to the body. The zips on the arms are quite snug giving really good weather protection if you like to wear your gloves under you sleeves. Alternatively they can be adjusted really tight if you prefer your gloves to go over the top. The adjustable collar is really good to allow the fit you prefer. They will zip together with the matching trousers too. I haven't worn this with the thermal liner yet as at the end of September it wasn't cold enough. I am sure with the liner fitted it will be a really good all year round jacket.
I see why nobody has tried these jackets in heavy rain because sportsbikeshop ask for a review soon after purchase. I have always worn leather jackets over the last 45 years so a textile is very different. It is light to wear and feels thin and baggy in the arms compared to leather. Took out the thermal liner at present but in the winter I will definitely need it and a good fleece top.
Very very good jacket, I have paired it with the Hinterland trousers. For the money nothing else compares, quality and sizing are spot on, love oxford gear.
worn in sun, rain and wind excellant all round touring jacket. lots of pockets and vents. went through a thunder storm on the way down to cornwall stayed bone dry. Then temps hit 28c
still very comfortable to wear.
I needed some new gear after buying an ADV bike. Came across the Mondial on sale and liked the idea of having laminated gear. It's really good quality, fits great, plenty of airflow and adjustment. Tried out in anger on a wet Welsh weekend and I was dry as a bone underneath. So impressed I bought the matching pants. Can't fault it.
I bought this jacket as a replacement for an ageing Held jacket, I didn't want to spend Rukka money but wanted a laminated Goretex.
I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised how light this is, it's comfortable and kept me dry in some really horrendous rain in the Alps this year. It's a little sweaty when it's really hot but I have an air vest over it so it's probably because the vents are blocked - overall a good jacket.
A great jacket has everything I need in terms of ventilation it's comfortable would recommend to anyone

As they say, there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear. Today's riding jackets are expected to be technically brilliant but that comes at a price with laminate jackets appearing at the top of that pile. Enter the new Oxford Mondial - technically brilliant but at a price that is within reach of all discerning motorcycle riders. In addition it's light weight, doesn't hold water in a downpour and dries out really quickly.

Questions and Answers
How many pockets are there ? Are the external pockets waterproof ?
March 20, 2019There are 2 external pockets that are not waterproof. There are 4 internal pockets, 2 on the inside of the thermal liner and 2 on the inside of the jacket itself. Whilst there are no dedicated waterproof pockets, the 4 internal pockets are on the inside of the waterproof liner, so there should be no water ingress from outside conditions.
