Best waterproofs I've ever owned

I've used these a few times in light showers and they've worked amazingly...
Coming home from week in Lancaster hit with horrendous down pours on the M6 (5/8/23) I got back and was bone dry!
Elasticated cuffs which work well to prevent water getting in
The seams are double stitched and have a smart overlap to them to prevent potential leaks.
Only thing I've come across Is that the legs are crazy long ! So I have to tuck them bottoms of them into my boots but doing this still stops Water from getting in. I would say definitely try before you buy as sizes come up small

I'm so glad these came back in stock before my trip, this and the jacket are so light and pack really small. Of a 5 day ride over the alps to Monaco and back it rained 4 of them, even at 130kmh in lashing rain I remained absolutely dry

Useful for in case you get caught out

Bought these as a just-in-case, for when you set out in nice weather, but it turns wet later. I tried them on, they do pull on over your boots. Not so easy to get them off again, but it's more important that they pull on quickly when you're caught in the rain, than how quickly you can get them off gain once the rain passes. They pack down quite small and are light, so easy to carry in a tank bag or whatever.

Bought with the jacket, sizing spot on, I'm 32 waist 32 leg and the medium fits perfectly over my bike jeans. Easy enough to get on over boots as well and long enough in the leg too. Light but feel strong enough.

Good value for money

An inexpensive pair of waterproof over trousers. Although they are quite thin they have kept me completely dry in the rain and also help to fight off the wind, although they do sound like a flapping crisp packet at times. Being thin, they dry quite quickly, too. No zip access at the ankle - just elasticated openings - but what can you expect for the price. Good value for the money in my opinions and they store compactly in the little drawstring bag supplied.

Bought these after trying several different sizes of the Oxford equivalents - the Oxford's were always too short in the leg when wearing leathers with knee sliders and sat on a sports bike (they'd probably be fine on a tourer where your knees aren't quite so bent). The RST's however are just the right length and leg width to allow this (size L for 32" inside leg).
The RST's are a much more lightweight material than the Oxford's which is good for packing down, but I do wonder how long they will last.
Haven't tested waterproofing yet but assuming that is fine for now.
Excellent service as always from SBS (and the Reading store in particular).
