Comfortable boots

I bought these boots to replace my worn out Hein Gericke boots. My husband has Forma boots and recommended the brand for comfort and keeping his feet dry in torrential rain.
These are comfortable, however I haven't tested them in heavy rain yet but expect them to keep my feet dry.
Good quality boots and great customer service from SBS.

Comfortable boot. Good room in calf to wear slim trousers inside boot. I normally wear size 4, but I found a size 5 was a perfect fit. I would say to order a size up. I had to do an exchange for the 4 to the 5. There was no issue at all. Excellent customer service.

I purchased these boots recently as I am a new rider and wanted something comfortable that wouldn't feel too bulky or heavy but would offer a high level of protection. So far these boots tick all of those boxes. I also ride pillion a lot with my husband so need to be warm and cosy. These seem to do the trick so far. I ordered a size up to give me the option of wearing thicker socks too. This was the right decision. I've worn them with thick and thin socks and they are comfy either way.

Great looking boots

I haven't worn them for a ride yet, but round the house they see comfy, not too clumpy and a good fit. They come up a little small, so order up if you're between sizes. The clips and velcro fastenings are perfect and easy to use. Glad to see they have removed the "Lady" embossing on the inside panel, it's what put me off buying them a long time time ago. It would be great if these boots were available in the longer choice that the men have. They are a little short, but will have to do. I haven't found a nicer pair of adventure boots anywhere else for ladies. As always, we're a little passed over. I get it, not so many lady riders , but it's irritating. I'll update this review, if I can, once I've worn them for a few rides :-) Stay safe out there ladies.

Great boots

I struggle to get boots to fit as I have wide feet. I have always suffered with cold wet feet when riding as I have never been able to find a decent pair of waterproof boots that fit and aren't like wellies! I thought I would try these (without holding out much hope) and can't believe how good they are. My feet have been warm and dry and I have been riding all winter in all conditions. The boots are also comfy for walking around off the bike. I normally wear a 5 in bike boots but needed a 6 in these. As an added bonus they give me about an extra 0.5" in height and at 5'2" every little helps.

Good all rounder

Great boots!! They are warm and water proof and also feel comfy when off the bike. I find them much easier to ride in than previous boots I've purchased as they aren't too chunky in the toe so getting under the gear leaver isn't an issue.
They felt a little tight initially but after reading some other reviews I took the removable insole out and they fit perfectly now. They fit great around my calves aswell, even with my trousers tucked inside.

This is my first pair of Tourer boots, I'm a new rider. After reading the reviews I chose these, I did stick to my size 7 and they fit like a dream even with heavy socks. I had no issues with getting the boots under my gear lever and were so comfortable from the off. Having a boot higher up my leg has made riding in scottish weather a bit more bearable haha. Delivery was fast and I live on an island.

Extra bit of height on sole to stop tip toeing on the bike 100% yes
Well after 13 years riding either with guys or unisex boots, as iv got bigger calves. I can highly recommend these boots. Iv been riding through some of the worst rain and cold since purchasing these and I would put these in any recommendation request for an all round pair of boots.

Bought these in the hope that they would fit my thick legs.
Brilliant!
Also was concerned about sizing as everyone has said to size up. Thought would have to return but just removed the insole and they fit perfectly.
Now that they have eased a little I will be putting them back in.
So happy to now have toasty feet.
Great when pillion and when riding my own bike!

Sturdy without the heaviness

I had been looking for a decent adventure ladies boot for while , these are really sturdy, without the heaviness, if you like your boots near , then choose your regular size , otherwise go a size up, they are a neat fit ,I got my regular size but I don't like lose fitting boots or wearing thick socks , you can adjust the tightness in the strap to suit and the over all boot just feels feels of good quality . Nice thick soles, but not too thick you can't feel that bike . Over all a nice sturdy , stylish , functional boot that doesn't look like they have been designed as an afterthought .

Comfortable, warm and good looking boots. I bought a size bigger as I always wear thicker socks in my bike boots. I feel very secure in them. Great service from Sportsbikeshop, they came very quickly. Altogether very pleased.

I'm normally a size 7/41 but in bike boots I always get 8/42 and these were perfect straight away! They have excelled in their first two trips with dry feet after extremely wet conditions. The grip on the sole is much better than standard, so far only fuel at the garage has made them slip a little. If they continue this standard they will be the best boots I've ever had.

The quality is top notch, great fitting boots true to Ladies sizes, I did 200 miles on my first trip and they were great, no problem with gear changing, no sore bits and they were very warm. They are very sturdy all round which gives you a feeling of protection in all the right places, the soles are very strong with a good grip when feet are down. Great service from Sportsbikeshop.

What is the thickness of the sole on these boots.
March 5, 2020I can confirm that the thinner part of the sole near the toe measures in around 2/2.5cm thick and the thicker area of the sole near the heel measures in around 4cm thick.
