Nolan N100-5 N-Com - Classic Metal White

On returnung to biking I always had Nolans in the past and reading the reviews of this helmet i ordered one. I cannot fault this helmet, its comfortable lid up or down, i wear spectacles and that isnt a problem at all and what a beauty too

Having worn medium helmets forever, with manufacturers switching to narrow shells I've had to go up a size. Consequently, this N100-5 is comfortable but not snug.
As with previous Nolans it is without doubt a good helmet, far better then the far more expensive Schuberth I had. The full size pinlock is yet to be tested but on previous Nolan it's worked, unlike on other helmets I've had. The chin vent is a little difficult to find and its' effectiveness has yet to be tried.
The only down side with the Nolan, as it seems with all modern helmets, is wind noise around the base. So you have to wear ear plugs but if they come loose you're going to get a touch of tinitus.

Bought this because unfortunately my Nolan N104 broke a cable in its chin bar release mechanism. Was only 5 years old but got used in all weathers. Bought this because I knew it would fit. Was bit tight on forehead at first but after a few days it had bedded in nicely. Happy with helmet at this price.

Went for the Nolan N100-5 after a lot of research. Fit true to size, well made and oozes quality. Wide visor aperture with pinlock already installed. Good ventilation when used in closed position. Excellent sun visor, unlike previous helmets I have owned where they don't come down far enough. Very quiet by any standards let alone for a modular. Highly recommended.

Bought helmet for my wife. Reason as I have bought N-Com system to link with my Helmet.
Fits perfectly and again service from SBS is excellent.

Never had a modular helmet before, but fancied having one. Tried on at a local store and felt fantastic - comfort and fit. Always had SHOEI in the past but now prefer NOLAN and X-LITE - Drop down visor better than on my old GT Air

Helmet was tried and fitted perfect, wanted intercom as well but it will not arrive till later this month, other than that excellent service and customer care.

This is a replacement for the same model that was stolen. I had to have the same one because I've been so impressed. The flip mechanism woks brilliantly, the sun visor is excellent and the fit is snug but comfy. Recommended.

Good service from Reading Sportsbike Shop - very helpful on trying a number of different helmets and good advice offered. Very pleased with eventual choice. The Nolan is very comfortable & plenty of features and much cheaper than the equivalent Shoei which was my initial preference based on my experience of my old helmet. Minor niggle - I was used to the D-ring fastening rather than the Nolan's ratchet fitting, but I've got used to the latter now.

The helmet is well made and feels like a quality item. Fit is good and hinge mech works well. Fitted Interphone intercom no problem. Good peripheral vision and visor is good. Quite noisy at anything above 60mph. When open the bottom of the visor section sits in line of site by 5mm which is distracting. Works well in open face mode below 50mph

I am delighted. The helmet is comfortable and every bit as quiet as my Shoei Neotech but for less than half the price. The aperture is wide, giving good visibility and is also quite high which means I don't need to bend my head back. It also has a nice, quality feel to it. Highly recommended.

From a service point of view, I had to order the helmet in which arrived quickly unfortunately I need a big size this took a bit longer but even so only a week and a half. The exchange was simple and handled in store.
The Helmet is very nice, it is reasonably quiet and the visor flips up very close to the helmet so does not act like a sail.
