Verified Customer Reviews for Richa Carbon Winter Waterproof Leather Gloves
I didn't want to spend too much on gloves so I opted for these.
They are great value and do the job of keeping my hands warm.
Ordered these after some lengthy research, as I wanted some reliable gloves for the coming winter months.
Although not the most expensive gloves out there, they cost more than I would usually spend.
On arrival they felt and looked
Like just what I was after,
Well made, and when I tried them on, thick and warm.
I ordered large even though my measurements were med to large, they were very tight to get on and off, to the point where the fingers on one hand felt like they were being pulled out of joint.
Over the last three weeks they have loosened a little.
They have felt warm and comfortable for the three weeks I have used them for my
30 Mile commute to work and back,
But that has been in mild dry
Weather.
Unfortunately today I had a 15 mile commute home in the rain,
For the first 10 miles the gloves were warm and dry. Just how I expected them to be,
Then water started seeping in through the fingers and thumb.
By the time I had got home they were completely soaked through.
So they are definitely not waterproof, as the advertising states, even the label on the gloves states they are waterproof. THEY ARE NOT
WATERPROOF.
Because of their thickness they
Will need along time to dry out, so if they get wet on your way to work, you are probably going to have to put wet
Cold gloves on, for the journey
Home. If this happens to be when the temperature drops in the evening, you could have a very uncomfortable ride home.
I have to be honest and say
I am now regretting buying these gloves,
as they are not what they are advertised as, and that is waterproof,
Very disappointing, for an item from a well known brand.
I would not recommend these gloves, for winter riding or wet weather.
Good quality gloves for the money
Used these for the 1st time this week seem very warm also very comfortable. Delivery was super fast updated every step of the way keep up the good work sportsbikeshop.
At this price those gloves are a no brainer.
Thanks SBS
Although bulky they're very good in the cooler temps, had these almost two yrs now and haven't let me down in warmth or keeping the water out
I thought the gloves were leather but they are textile, size and quality are fine but I have given 5 for the free postage and service, I exchanged for DXR and I have to say that they are extremely good for the money and are all leather.
Purchased gloves to replace ones I could not find.. Good price and I had a £10 voucher to use. Quality looking good.
Gloves feel well made, and the size chart was accurate
I bought a medium as I'm 9 cm according to the chart
They fit nicely
They feel really warm
I only gave a 4 as I have not been caught out in the rain yet
I've put a few hundred miles on these gloves so far and they seem to perform well so far even if they still need a fair bit more wearing in. Only limited heavy showers but hands stayed dry and warm.
Happy with the purchase at the price.
Really nice warm gloves. Looks to be well made, not tried them below 5 degrees yet
These gloves are great for colder temperatures as I was sick of riding out with cold hands. They are a fair bit bulkier than my old gloves but to be expected for the extra warmth. They seem nicely made and are good quality for the price paid. They look like they will be durable and last a while.
These gloves are very comfortable and the gauntlet style allows me to get them on and over my jacket sleeve very easily. I can say that they are warm but can't comment on their waterproofness at the moment because I haven't been out in the rain!
Very warm and waterproof. Used it now in all weathers including on motorways at -3 at 70mph with no heated grips or hand guards. Kept my hands warm and did the job perfectly. I bought an XL which is too big for me at the minute, so will have to purchase a large instead at some point.
Great fitting gloves, longest run in the cold so far, 60mins at around 3° C, no heated grips, kept my hands warm. Have the feel of a quality product. Great service from Sportsbikeshop.
Not sure if waterproof, fit slightly larger for xl but great gloves, wish windproof was slightly better as fingers cold after 5miles but didn't get any worse 4/5
