Bought the SAE to Oximiser adaptor at a decent price and the usual quick friendly service from SBS
I'd you have one of the Oxford oximiser chargers the cords will be short so these extensions are essential. Quailty is decent and the connectors look sturdy
Correct item as ordered. Good price and received quick.
I needed these adapter leads to get the most out of my different types of chargers and they do just that.
The only issue I have had is that the pins in one of the plugs are miss-aligned which makes connection difficult at times. Otherwise, great.
Exactly what I wanted
Very good price point on these leads, which are top quality kit. Simple to install and set up.
The part numbers do take some navigation to select the specific ones required.
Always a pleasure to Order from SBS no fuss, no stress, my go to place for bike kit.
Called to check that I was ordering a female converter lead. But advice was wrong a male was sent. Have called back and correct one being sent out. The information on the website regards electrical leads has insufficient information
Works well in my case converts an older Optimate lead to the new plugs, have different leads on various bikes. Good quality especially for the price
Does exactly what you want it to do
Handy conversation for using the Oximisers (in my case the 3X) with SAE connections (as common with 'Optimate')
Used to connect a to Triumph Street Triple and Trident 660 using the Optimate leads they came fitted with from the dealership (As already owned the 3X from a previous bike)
It's EL103 you want for connecting with an Oximiser 3X (might be different for the other models), as that's the version with the plastic holes and metal pins to receive the plastic pins and metal tubes on the Oximiser side
The EL109 would be the opposite of that, with the plastic pins sticking out
Very easy to fit. Makes the life easier
When you try to connect the two connections, they are so tight that is very difficult for them to meet correctly. Still works though, just doesn't seem right
Converting connector to change from older version to new version connector for optimisers used latest bikes, works great.
Quick excellent service even during this busy Christmas/Pandemic time.
Cable certainly saved me buying a new charger
So many choices of accessory leads, all of them great quality and a straight forward fit on my bike.
Being able to check its the right lead with clear pictures is a great help.
I always pay extra for the next day delivery, which is another very reasonable deal from sportsbikeshop.
Excellent service by the customer service team Martin & Ben for getting me the right item after I had bought the wrong one, well done lads.
Simple device but provides option to use previous gen optimate (TM) connection and new gen (sae) compressor.
As always sportsbikeshop deliver on quality of service, stock availability, price and delivery. Great easy to use website too. Well done SBS

Hello, I have bought a Ducati Monster 1200 S (2014) and want to connect my Oxford Oximiser 900 charger to the bike charging system. It looks like I need an EL109. Can you confirm this is correct please ? Thanks Tim
April 26, 2019Your Ducati uses a Canbus electronic system, and so you require a Canbus compatible unit, such as the Optimate 4 Dual battery Optimiser. The Oximiser is not suitable.
