The largest size says 48-50 (i.e. size 13 to 15); I can only say that this must be entirely inaccurate as I am a size 13 shoe and my shoe appears as if it has been vacuum packed - how a foot size bigger than mine could fit would be a feat to see. I have nothing particularly critical to say about the design which is pleasing to the eye and the functionality, i.e. the useful strap that anchors the cloth to the foot along with the pull tie at the top of the cover. However, I have only had it for a week, so I am curious to know if it will survive a Winter. I bought these on the strength of their name, which is generally good.
Used them through torrential rain and suffered no ingress at all. Additionally, they are a snug fit on my size 12's so there was no issue with braking or gear changes. Would recommend.
Oh dear, last minute order before heading off on a wild and wooly Scottish highland trip. Worked well enough for 2 days, but on the 3rd the toe stitching failed and the front became a water catching flip flop. Couple that with the fact that the elasticated clip is on the inside of the boot and therefore unclips after every second gear change I'd have to give these a big thumbs down.
Good, snug fit on my size 47 boots. Materials appear durable. They go on and fasten easily.
I have several oxford products. They all work well.
Done 290 miles in heavy rain and these done the job perfectly kept feet bone dry
We couldn't have picked the worst time to ride 2000 miles in Europe.
It rained, heavily, nearly every! And it was even worse when we were on the motorway. I bought these over boots just in case, as on previous trips my 'waterproof boots' weren't waterproof!. For me they were brilliant and kept my boots, and my feet dry. However, the only down side is that one of the push button poppers has 'popped' off.
Definitely recommend them.
These work very well, great to have tucked in your bag somewhere, don't take up much rom and are light.
Just don't expect to use these all year round, they are cheap for a reason, work great for a trip or a season but are more like a consumable item.
Not tried these yet in the wet but they are substantial and fit well. There is an excellent grip sole for walking which does make them a little heavy if you take them touring.
Minor issue with stud and strap but sportsbikeshop sorted with no fuss, good size and fit
Perfect fit and easy access with a side zip. Elastic at the top of the overboots should guarantee keeping the rain out. Soles seem to still allow plenty of feel on the bike pedals.
Fit is true, the 41-43 fit over my size 9 boots perfectly. Feet stayed dry during a wet week in Wales. Will see how long they last. Price was very reasonable.
These overboots fit great over my existing boots with the zip and elasticated top. Sitting under my leggings they kept my boots dry and the firm soul seemed sturdy enough. Be interesting to see how they wear on top from the gear lever with time.
I had just bought the Oxford Rainseal jacket and trousers but wanted something for my low ankle boots. Saw these and they are just great and also make it easier to get my Rainseal trousers on. They are well made, have a really good sole and stay in place once on. They also fold up flat and take up no space at all when packed on the bike, just in case.
100% rain proof. Tested! Did slip a bit, but not too much. Handy to keep under the saddle if your boots aren't waterproof. Cheap too!
Way back in the 1970s when I started riding motorcycles, these sorts of overshoes were popular, but sadly didn't live up to expectations. I was a little cautious in placing my order for these overshoes, given the very modest asking price. However, I needn't have worried. ... Fast forward 50 years and now you can be confident that you will arrive at your destination with dry feet. These are well made, large enough to go over a work boot and have clearly had all the development they need to be fit for purpose. I never look forward to riding in the rain but at least I'll be properly suited and booted for the occasion from now on!
I have now used these on a short 15 mile commute. Feet dry on arrival at the office. I also found the short walk form the bike parking to the office felt normal. I have tried cheaper ones. My advice? Dont bother, just get these.
Bought to keep the sea from me.
As a photographer I wanted to walk into the sea, turn round and photograph the water lapping the shore. Searched all manner of solution to keep feet and lower legs dry but all solutions were too small for my plates.
Until that is I found SportsBikeShop. The Oxford Rain Shields are brilliant at keeping the waves from getting me wet..so they must be the dogs if you are riding a bike.
Great platform soles so steady grip, easy to put on and well constructed. And flat pack so I can take them anywhere as part of my kit.
Solved my requirement for dry feet. I think I'll buy a motorbike.
Just what i was looking for, you never truly get a fully waterproof boot when riding in some of the weather that we have had. These over boots are an absolute Rain (Game) Changer. It's a must for any ride out, It just does the job EVERY-TIME "Boom"
