Held Wet Tour Waterproof Jacket - Black / Orange

First of all I love the colour, makes me much more confident of being seen when it's dark and wet in sunny Manchester. Gave it a proper test on this years Dragon Rally which took place during Storm Ciara. Anybody who attended will know just how grim it was. 70 mph winds driving rain and to top it all a hailstorm which reduced speed to 10mph. The journey including diversions for landslides and flooded roads was just over a 100 miles and was the worst conditions I have ever rode in. Not a drop of rain got through this jacket, absolutely bone dry. Having been blown off the bike twice on the campsite it needed a wash, I used Nikwax Tech Wash on a 30 degree synthetic cycle and low spin speed which did the trick. I particularly like the elasticated and Velcro wrist fastening and comfortable fit. It's a lot of money for a single layer waterproof on the face of it but well worth the investment.

Looks good and fits well, bought it to go over the top of my Dainese leather jacket, ordered my usual size, room built in for it to go over the top of leathers, fits perfectly. Bit faffy to get on at first due to the hump in the back of the leathers but I'll get used to that. Haven't worn it in the rain yet so can't comment there, however, if its anywhere near as good as some of the the other HELD gear I've had in the past it should do the job.

Have given this a 5 star rating but haven't yet used it in a downpour, fingers crossed it performs as good as it looks. I just ordered my regular size ( L ) and fits well over my leather and also textile jackets. Folds up into a reasonably small package so easy to stash away, overall a good quality waterproof jacket.

Brought large to go over a large Forsair jacket. Easy to put on and comfortable to wear and waterproof

Sometimes a product comes along that just works, does what it says it will and makes you happy you got it, that's this jacket.

The jacket folds up to a small size so it's easy to keep on the bike incase the heavens open up. It's breathable so you don't feel like your in a plastic bag and the zip is off centre to stop the wind freezing your chest.

My motorcycle jackets are a size Large and the size Large fits over my jacket without looking like a tent, In heavy rain it keep me dry and when it needs replaced I'll get another.

Bought this after reading previous reviews.
Thankfully I have not needed to use the jacket in rain as yet but no reason to think it will not be waterproof as I have used Held gear previously.
The size chart suggests the same as your normal jacket as its made larger to accommodate wearing on top.
I wear an RST euro 60 (4XL)leather jacket which has plenty room for extra layers below it so I went 3XL in the held. Its also big enough to go on top of my textile jacket which is adventure length. Plenty of room as like they say it is made larger than normal bike wear. I probably could have got away with a 2XL but I hate having restricted movement when wearing waterproofs. A well made jacket that is high at the neck which I also like.

Excellent choice

This is definitely my Best Buy of 2018, it looks really cool, really well styled, fits perfectly over my jacket, I am very visible and most importantly I have tested it during a whole week of rain on my commute, and stayed dry. I have not taken it off since I got, so I highly recommend it.

100% waterproof, easy to put on and sized perfectly (I wear EU52 2 piece leathers, and an M fits perfectly over). The collar is a little bulky, so you need to pack the hood away carefully (if you ever use it), packs very small, not yellow.

Ordered this product based on (a) it's NOT yellow, (b) excellent rating by others.

Not had opportunity to test it in heavy rain yet, but it appears to be well-designed and well.made. Sizing comes up a tad smaller than expected, but maybe that's just me.

I have every confidence that when I have to use it, it will provide the protection I expect of it.

My only doubt is the quality of the zipper. Its fine teeth appear too flimsy, but maybe this style is used to better-prevent water ingress. Time will tell.

This rain jacket is exactly what I was looking for. It's a good fit, easy to move in on the bike and, most importantly, waterproof! The only slight comment I have is that that cost is a bit intrusive on my shoulder checks. Because the his is stored in here and I'm a target short (5'2 inch) woman, I find the stiffness of it and is height gets a bit in the way of my helmet. To be honest I think this realty is to do with my small size and I notice that others don't find this a problem so I've mentioned it but wouldn't let this out you off. I don't want the hood for off bike use do an going to cut it off. I do love the jacket and I love the best colour!

100% waterproof, quality material and well designed, and excellent fit, so no billowing affect when riding. When warm there was no condensation inside the jacket, I was totally dry. The high collar with the hood tucked inside is excellent and stops water running inside your jacket from the back of your helmet and protects you from the front. Highly recommended.
